Why does this Wiki scramble the email-adresses?

Answer:

There are many programs like Spybots, Webcrawlers and the like. This programs hunt for email-adresses throughout the web by systematically scanning homepages, mailinglist- and news-archives.

By scrambling or inserting text that humans can get rid of very easy but bots can't, many pages protect the owners of the adresses from more spammers that they already got. It doesn't always work, but most time it does...

BTW: If you look into our mailinglist-archive, the email-adresses are scrambled, too.
